Description

A festive and delicious Candy Cane Dessert perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed candy canes (about 1012 candy canes)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the Greek yogurt to the cream cheese mixture and fold until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of the crushed candy canes, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle the top with the reserved crushed candy canes and chocolate chips if using. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, add cocoa powder to the cream cheese mixture or use chocolate graham crackers for the crust.
  • To make it a no-bake dessert, simply skip the baking step for the crust and chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before adding the filling.
