Description

Buffalo Chicken Bombs are a delicious game day snack filled with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese, wrapped in crescent roll dough.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and green onions if using. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous tablespoon of the buffalo chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go to form a sealed bomb.
  6. Place the bombs on a greased baking sheet, seam side down.
  7. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
  • You can also substitute the buffalo sauce with BBQ sauce for a different flavor profile.
