  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional buffalo wings, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Celery sticks for serving
  • Blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  6. Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  7. Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to set the sauce.
  8. Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, try air frying the cauliflower instead of baking. Cook at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • For a milder flavor, mix the buffalo sauce with a little ranch dressing before tossing the cauliflower.
