Description
Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional buffalo wings, perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Celery sticks for serving
- Blue cheese dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to set the sauce.
- Serve hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
Notes
- For extra crunch, try air frying the cauliflower instead of baking. Cook at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- For a milder flavor, mix the buffalo sauce with a little ranch dressing before tossing the cauliflower.
