- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, cheddar cheese, raisins, and crumbled bacon.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
- Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a healthier twist, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise.
- Add sunflower seeds or chopped nuts for extra crunch and flavor.
