- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Wash lemons thoroughly. Thinly slice them, removing seeds.
- Place lemon slices in a large bowl, cover with water, and soak overnight.
- Drain lemons, then place in a saucepan with 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 40–45 minutes, stirring often, until thickened and translucent.
- Transfer to sterilized jars and let cool. Store in the fridge for up to 1 month.
