Description

A refreshing and delightful sorbet made with blackberries and infused with lavender.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lavender buds. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove lavender buds.
  4. Add blackberries and lemon juice to the syrup and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  6. Once frozen, scoop and serve the sorbet in bowls.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, blend the mixture again before freezing.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your preference.
