  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large salad bowl, layer the chopped romaine lettuce as the base.
  4. Top the lettuce with the cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced red onion.
  5. Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over the top and gently toss to combine.
  6. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes for a cooler dish.
