Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper.
  2. Pour the mixture into the crock pot and spread it evenly.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, roll out the pie crust and cut it into strips or shapes.
  5. Place the pie crust on top of the chicken mixture in the crock pot.
  6. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
