Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (canned or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the meatballs, reserving the other half for later.
  5. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
  6. Remove the meatballs from the oven and drizzle the reserved sauce over them before serving.
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
  • For a sweeter touch, mix in 1/4 cup of brown sugar into the sauce.
