- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (canned or homemade)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the meatballs, reserving the other half for later.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven and drizzle the reserved sauce over them before serving.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- For a sweeter touch, mix in 1/4 cup of brown sugar into the sauce.
