  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond meal, ground flaxseed, sea salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Gradually pour in the olive oil and water, stirring until the mixture forms a cohesive dough.
  4. Gently incorporate the beet slices, ensuring they are well mixed into the dough.
  5. Transfer the dough onto the lined baking sheet, spreading it out evenly to about 1/8 inch in thickness.
  6. With a knife or pizza cutter, create a grid pattern by scoring the dough into individual cracker shapes.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and crispy while the center remains firm.
  8. Once baked, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool completely before breaking apart along the scored lines.
