Description
A delicious and easy-to-make snack featuring ground beef wrapped in crispy bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Mix until well combined.
- Lay out the bacon slices on a clean surface. Take a small portion of the beef mixture (about 2 tablespoons) and form it into a log shape. Place the log at one end of a bacon slice and roll it up tightly, securing the ends of the bacon around the beef. Repeat with the remaining beef mixture and bacon slices.
- Place the roll-ups seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the beef reaches 160°F.
- Let the roll-ups cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm as an appetizer or a main dish.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the beef mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Adjust cooking time as needed.
