Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until it reaches a crispy texture. Once done, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into small bits.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil.
- Cut each bacon strip in half and arrange them around the edges of each muffin cup, forming a cozy cup shape.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Sprinkle the chopped bacon and grated cheddar cheese evenly into each bacon-lined muffin cup.
- Carefully pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese, filling each cup about three-quarters full.
- Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the egg is fully set and the tops are lightly golden.
- Once baked, allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before gently lifting them out of the tin.
- If desired, finish with a sprinkle of fresh chives or parsley, and enjoy while warm.
