Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (chilled)
  • Lime zest for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the honey, lime juice, vanilla extract, and salt to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the avocado mixture until fully combined, being careful not to deflate the cream.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and set.
  6. Before serving, garnish with lime zest if desired.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder to the avocado mixture before blending.
