Description

A delicious Anchovy Butter Spread perfect for enhancing the flavor of ribeye steaks or seafood.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped anchovy fillets, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  2. Using a fork or a spatula, mix all the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to seal.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the butter to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, slice the butter into rounds and serve on top of grilled ribeye steaks or seafood.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, blend the ingredients in a food processor instead of mixing by hand.
  • Experiment with different herbs like chives or dill for a unique flavor twist.
