- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped anchovy fillets, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Using a fork or a spatula, mix all the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log shape and twist the ends to seal.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the butter to firm up.
- Once chilled, slice the butter into rounds and serve on top of grilled ribeye steaks or seafood.
