  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free, if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray or brush them with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  6. Cook the chicken bites in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
